In our childcare centre’s 0-2 years old room, we prioritise quality care to ensure the best start in life for our youngest members. Our dedicated team of caregivers understands the critical developmental milestones during this tender age and provides a nurturing environment that fosters growth, exploration, and learning.
With a focus on individualised attention, we create a safe and stimulating space where infants and toddlers feel secure to explore, play, and develop essential skills. Dingoes
(2-3 YEARS OLD)
In our 2-3 years old room, we recognise this stage as a blossoming period of exploration and discovery. We curate quality areas tailored to their budding interests, igniting their curiosity and fostering a love for learning. Our skilled educators guide them through hands-on experiences, encouraging them to explore the world around them with wonder and excitement.
It’s a vibrant age where so much is happening, and our dedicated team thrives on nurturing their burgeoning creativity and imagination. Through engaging activities and personalised attention, we empower these young learners to confidently navigate their environment, laying the groundwork for a lifetime of curiosity and growth.
Wallabies
(3-5 YEARS OLD)
In our 3-5 years old room, we prioritise comprehensive school readiness programmes, tailoring individualised plans to each child’s developmental stage and interests for essential literacy and numeracy skills. We foster initiative learning, empowering children to seek answers independently while providing supportive guidance. Nurturing social and emotional growth to enable confident navigation of challenges.
Creativity is celebrated, recognising each child’s unique ideas. Through engaging activities and enriching experiences, we cultivate a love for learning, equipping children with skills, confidence, and resilience for academic and social success. About Turramurra Kindergarten
Our beautiful 50 place family-owned boutique centre is located in Turramurra which is a suburb on the upper North shore of Sydney, in the state of NSW.
It is located in close proximity to Sydney just 16 Kilometers north-west of the Sydney Central Business district, in the local government area of Ku-ring-gai council, our facility is your premium centre for early learning. Early experiences and environment shape and influence your children and prepare them for their futures. By providing a caring and nurturing environment we build on your children’s home experiences and work closely with our parents to provide a fun learning environment with a holistic approach to reading, writing, numeracy, environmental awareness, and sustainability.

Turramurra kindergarten will operate 50 weeks per year
from Mon -Fri from 7am- 6:30pm excluding all public holidays.
Refer a friend program
We are offering a great new initiative for our families and friends between now and the end of the year called “REFER A FRIEND”. This will commence from October 9th and will enable you to get some free care days* for your child whenever you introduce our service to a friend or family member and they complete an enrolment with us to commence now or at the start of 2025.
*Conditions Apply – New enrolment must continue their enrolment for three months, at which time a credit for the number of days per week your friend or family have enrolled will be applied to your account (for your gap fee amount).

Meals
At Turramurra kindergarten we work closely with a team of qualified chefs and nutritionists to produce creative and delicious meals in separate preparation areas to suit children with allergies or cultural preferences. Homemade meals are prepared fresh daily. We are always on top of the latest advice about the most balanced diet for children, and our internationally recognised HACCP certified food production kitchen is equipped to cater for all your child’s meal requirements. You child will be exposed to a world of flavours and textures and nutritious meals every day!
Our meals are supplemented by a large selection of fresh fruit and raw vegetable crudités to serve with morning and afternoon tea, as well as fresh, steamed vegetables for lunch. All our meals are freshly prepared with high-quality, seasonal ingredients so you can be assured your child is receiving all the nutrients each day that’s exceeds the national dietary guidelines for children whilst in our care at Turramurra Kindergarten.

WHAT OUR PARENTS ARE SAYING
Since we started at TK, we have been so impressed with every aspect of the centre. I wanted to specifically call out PohWee and let you know that she has thoroughly impressed us as Centre Director. She makes a huge effort with greeting parents, communicating with us and showing genuine care and love for our kids. She's knowledgeable and really gets things! She's always present and available when you want to have a chat and I think this is so important. The same goes with all the other educators at the centre, we really feel like you hire quality educators who don't just see it as a 'job'. They're educated, smart, switched on, organised, show genuine love and care for the kids and maintain a high level of standard that is really evident when we drop off and pick up our kids. We have come from a previous centre where we didn't have this yet always wanted it! The activities that the kids do are always very impressive and the creativity of the educators is wonderful. I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional care and support you've provided to Mikey over the past six months. In particular, I want to thank Mikey's teachers, Ms. Homa and Ms. Jessey, for their dedication and warmth. Mikey speaks fondly of his time in the centre. Especially the Christmas celebration where he learned some songs, his preferred one which is the Chinese "Twinkle Twinkle" which he sometimes sings during grocery shopping. Your commitment to nurturing Mikey's growth and creating a joyful learning environment has made a profound impact on our family. Just wanted to spend a few moments to let you know how incredibly happy we are of the high standards and care your team (led by Pohwee as centre Director and every single one of your amazing educators) has provided Audrey and Austin over the short time they've been there. The attention to detail and care provided to Austin (especially given his allergies and skin condition) has been second to none, and the love and dedication from the team has made his transition to daycare a lot easier than we had anticipated. As for Audrey, we have been impressed with how patient the educators have been with her given she has taken a little while to adjust, especially during drop-offs. It makes us so happy to see her turn a new leaf and that's credit to your amazing team for making her feel so comfortable. The Christmas party was such a success and it's so great to see the children's happy faces and that's testament to the hard work of planning the staff had put in. We enrolled into Turra Kindy earlier this year and they continue to blow us away each day our child attends.
The outdoor space is huge, open, bright, shaded, has some natural landscape of rocks and grass behind the sand pit that my daughter loves exploring.
The sandpit is massive and a huge hit. They have a worm farm that my daughter often talks about as we also have a worm farm at home.
Turra kindy have beautiful thriving vege gardens that the kids maintain. There are local animals that visit the kindy unannounced (cockatoos, lorikeets, kookaburras and brush turkeys) and are a huge hit with lots of the kids. The kids watch them wondering around exploring the Kindys neighbouring gardens. Very funny to see at pick up some afternoons.
Inside is huge, clean, bright and full of various toys. Craft is big at Turra Kindy, my child is always creating something and gives me her artwork proudly nearly every day at pick up.
I like how the kids are exploring the traditional land they are on (Darug Country) and acknowledge this daily through play, reading and craft. This is very important to us.
The staff are very engaged, warming and go above and beyond for our child + our family. We are very happy and highly recommended Turra Kindy.
